I.CaRe Bordeaux, a centre of excellence open to international collaboration

Certified as an EUSP Host Centre in the field of kidney cancer by the European Board of Urology (EBU) and the European Association of Urology (EAU) Fellowship Programme, we were delighted to welcome Dr Rocco Simone Flammia from IFO – Istituto Nazionale Tumori Regina Elena – Istituto Dermatologico San Gallicano (Rome) for a two-week visit, from February 2nd to 13th, as part of our I.CaRe Bordeaux program.

This certification recognizes the excellence of our program and enables us, in particular, to host international colleagues and fellows for short-term visits to take part in our clinical, research and innovation activities.

🔬 During his stay, Rocco had the opportunity to:

• follow 1️⃣6️⃣ 𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗼𝘁-𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗸𝗶𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 alongside Prof. Jean-Christophe BERNHARD and Dr Gaëlle Margue,
• immerse oneself in the heart of UroCCR – National network on Kidney Cancer with the coordinating team
• participate in the 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗮 𝗩𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶 𝟱 at the hashtag#RTCB and 𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝟯𝗗-𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝗶𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗹 Digital Urology 3D
• explore in greater depth our 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗸𝗶𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺, which brings together a portfolio of projects dedicated to improving knowledge and patient care in renal tumors through 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻,
