Clinical Research Staff Day – Tuesday 28 April

To mark Clinical Research Staff Day, held on Tuesday 28 April, Professor Jean-Christophe Bernhard, founder and coordinator of the I.CaRe Bordeaux Programme, spoke about advances in artificial intelligence applied to kidney tumour surgery.

During this presentation, Professor Bernhard highlighted the new opportunities offered by artificial intelligence in the surgical management of patients with kidney cancer. In particular, these innovative technologies help to improve decision-making support, surgical planning and the personalisation of treatments, to the benefit of both patients and medical teams.

This presentation also provided an opportunity to showcase the various activities carried out as part of the I.CaRe Bordeaux research and innovation programme. This multidisciplinary programme aims to develop innovative solutions combining clinical research, new technologies and artificial intelligence in order to support developments in medical and surgical practices.

The event served to recognise the dedication of clinical research staff and highlight their vital role in developing innovative projects that will shape the future of medicine.
