Dr Gaëlle Margue, has been elected Vice President of the AFUF. Passionate about research—particularly in kidney cancer—and deeply committed to resident training, she has stood out through her active involvement in the European urological community. As a European representative, she revitalised engagement with the EUREP programme and helped reinforce the French presence at EAU congresses. An active member of numerous associations and collaborative groups, including the ESRU and the YAU Kidney Cancer Group, Dr Margue played a key role in the creation of the first European register of urology fellowships for young urologists.

In her new role, she intends to further strengthen the ties between the AFUF and the AFU, promote continuing education, and support innovation in urology—driven by a vision of openness, cooperation, and excellence.
