On June 5, 2025, Professor Jean-Christophe Bernhard represented I.CaRe Bordeaux at the JUM Congress, with a presentation of “Connected Follow-up of Kidney Tumours”.
On this occasion, Prof. Bernhard spotlighted UroConnect, a digital medical device central to the DiPRU project (Digital and Personalized Recovery in Urology), co-developed by I.CaRe Bordeaux and Resilience. Since 2021, UroConnect has supported patients treated for kidney, prostate, or bladder cancer. Initially implemented at Bordeaux University Hospital Centre, UroConnect is now deployed in 22 centres across France. The device aims to secure and simplify perioperative care pathways using digital technology, improving both safety and patient experience.
Supported by the France2030 Investment Plan, this ambitious initiative reflects I.CaRe Bordeaux’s commitment to a connected, human, and personalised urology.
Thanks to the organisers and Scientific Committee for the invitation: Romain Boissier, Gilles Karsenty, Geraldine Pignot, Cyrille Bastide, Dominique Rossi, and Thomas Maubon.
