Presentation of the I.CaRe Bordeaux program to representatives of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region

We recently welcomed several members of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region for a full presentation of the flagship excellence projects of the Integrated Research & Innovation Program on Kidney Cancer I.CaRe Bordeaux.

This meeting provided an opportunity to present the structure, ambitions and achievements of I.CaRe Bordeaux, whose goal is to improve knowledge and care for kidney tumors through innovation, research, evaluation of practices, and the development of innovative care pathways.

馃幆 Our Program coordinates a portfolio of excellence projects in care, research and teaching, structured around 4 complementary research areas:

路 馃捇 Innovative care pathways and digital health
路 馃 4.0 augmented minimally invasive surgery

This organisation promotes multi-partner academic and industrial projects with a strong clinical impact.

馃К Major components driving innovation in healthcare:
UroCCR – National network on Kidney Cancer, accredited by INCa and France 2030, is a multidisciplinary medico-scientific network focused on therapeutic management and applied research in kidney cancer. (more than 22,000 patients, 70 centers)
DigitalUrology3D, a France 2030 hospital-university program integrating AI, imaging, radiomics, virtual reality and 3D printing to improve surgery, the patient experience and training. ANR-21-RHUS-0015 project) ANR (French National Research Agency)
路 The translational research team BRIC-BoRdeaux Institute of onCology Inserm U1312, dedicated to kidney cancer recurrence and progression, recently strengthened by the award of a Junior Professor Chair.
路 Digital innovations such as UroPREDICT (AI for clinical research, AMI Data & IA award winner) and UroCONNECT (perioperative remote monitoring app).
路 Training, with the RTCB Robotic Training Center de Bordeaux, a leading platform for simulation and teaching in robotic surgery.
