learner at the heart of simulations\u2019, took place from 1 to 3 April at the Coll\u00e8ge Sant\u00e9 de Bordeaux (<strong>University of Bordeaux<\/strong>), in collaboration with <strong>Bordeaux University Hospital<\/strong>.<\/p><p><strong>I.CaRe Bordeaux<\/strong> played a key role in the organisation and scientific content, with contributions from Professor <strong>Jean-Christophe Bernhard<\/strong> and Dr <strong>Ga\u00eblle Margue<\/strong>.<br>Dr Ga\u00eblle Margue spoke at the plenary session:<br>\u2018Pre- and intraoperative planning using 3D-printed digital twins: the case of complex kidney tumours\u2019<br>Professor Jean-Christophe Bernhard took part in the round table discussion:<br>\u201cTechnical simulation and technical expertise: from the anatomical subject to immersive digital technology \u2014 hits and misses, an industrialist\u2019s dream or a teacher\u2019s reality?\u201d<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section><div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-412d6104 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"412d6104\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\"><div class=\"elementor-widget-container\"><div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-412d6104 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" <strong>I.CaRe Bordeaux<\/strong>\u2019s significant contribution to:<br>Healthcare simulation<br>Training in robotic surgery<br>Educational and technological innovation<\/p><\/div><\/div><div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-44a12161 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"44a12161\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\"><div class=\"elementor-widget-container\"><p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"emoji\" role=\"img\" draggable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/s.w.org\/images\/core\/emoji\/17.0.2\/svg\/1f449.svg\" alt=\"\ud83d\udc49\"> Working closely with the Robotic Training Centre Bordeaux (<strong>RTCB<\/strong>) and the <strong>RHU <\/strong>Digital Urology 3D (DU3D), <strong>I.CaRe Bordeaux <\/strong>is developing a unique integrated approach combining:<br>\u2022 digital twins<br>\u2022 3D printing<br>\u2022 virtual and augmented reality<br>\u2022 mental simulation and procedural simulation<\/p><p>A unique translational R&amp;D initiative within the <strong>University of Bordeaux<\/strong>, positioning <strong>I.CaRe Bordeaux<\/strong> as a key player in transforming surgical practices and training.<br><br><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"emoji\" role=\"img\" draggable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/s.w.org\/images\/core\/emoji\/17.0.2\/svg\/1f91d.svg\" alt=\"\ud83e\udd1d\">A highly engaged regional and national ecosystem<br>This dynamic is underpinned by close collaborations with academic, hospital, industrial and institutional partners, notably within the framework of the RHU DU3D and regional initiatives (<strong>Aqui3D <\/strong><strong>Robethic<\/strong>).<br><br><img
